    This had what I liked.
    Winchester 94
    Octagon to round barrel.
    Tang rear Beech front
    Pistol grip and in 38-55




    The Marlin 94 has tang and Beech too.
    Octagon barrel....love them and in 32-20



    The 44-40
    Well you'll just have to wait for it

    Have to settle for a couple group photos!! With a couple Savage Sporters and a Trapdoor carbine thrown in!! There's more 99's, 1893's, 1894's and a couple 1873's in another locaton.

    I do have an older Winchester 94 in .30-30 I got from my uncle. I don’t think it’s pre-64 but I do need to check the serial numbers for a date. Don’t have any pics of it. Took the last deer from my home state with it and irons.

    Winchester 30-30 made in 1974.  I finally have the Williams Peep sighted in.  May take a deer with it this year

    Marlin .357

    Rossi RanchHand .357

    For some reason, I just don’t like curved pistol grips on lever guns. It just looks aesthetically wrong.

    Forgot about this one. 
    Marlin Guide Gun 
    .45-70 

    Buddy used it to take a doe a few years back. The results we amazingly definitive. 

    It currently wears an AimPoint Red Dot. Want to try and use it for pigs at night.

    Of all my guns, this one is my favorite. Marlin 1894 in 357 mag. I hope this gun stays in my family for a very very long time.  And you don’t want to know how much I paid for it several years ago. When I bought it this was still attached to the lever.  July of 1981 and it had never been shot until I bought it 7 or 8 years ago

    This was this was my pops 1940’s Winchester Model 94 .32 Special. It was manufactured between 1943 and 47 when Winchester stopped recording serial numbers because of WWII. 

    It’s now factory new and in mint condition. My pop stopped hunting in 1988. He put it un-cased in his attic six blocks from the ocean. When he passed in 2008 my stepmom sent it to me. It was fully covered in rust along with his 1953 AYA double barrel covered in rust.  I wasn't sure they were salvable.  You couldn't even break the lever action open.

    My gunsmith was able to save both of them. I hunt with each one every now and then. These are two of the four real treasures I own. I also have my 1960 Browning SA .22 and my buddies dads 1949 Browning Sweet 16.

    Distance is not an issue, but the wind can make it interesting!

    I have an 88 in .243 that was gifted to me...Pre-64 action in a post-64 stock...

    The last lever action that Winchester built...

    Top one is a Glenfield 30-30 w/ Weaver K4. It was my first centerfire gun. Bought it around 1980. Killed my 1st deer with it. My youngest son has killed a few with it. No idea how old it is. 

    Bottom is a Marlin 336 in 30-30. Bought it about 3-4 yrs ago. 1971 vintage. Didn’t need it but couldn’t refuse the price.
