Looking at recent improvements in bolt action designs, I decided to "assemble" my own Semi-Custom rifle.

Cost was definitely a consideration, but I could have saved a lot of money by using a Savage take of barrel and a cheaper stock.

V1.0
Origin LA Action
Greyboe Terrain stock
Prefit, shouldered 280AI 24" barrel (I will probably have it cut back to 20-22" and threaded for a can eventually).
Triggertech Primary trigger
BDL bottom metal.

Mounting the prefit barrel was easy as was verifying the headspace.  Installing the trigger was easy.  Honestly, the hardest part was getting the front action screw cut to the proper length for my stock.

V2.0 Lighter, 20" threaded 270 barrel, a lighter scope, and factory take off stock.  To save weight, I am going with a barrel nut vs a shouldered barrel.
