Fudd tested the slug gun
The deer I'm after is on the heavy side so wanted to cover the bases.
I normally just use Hornady SST's so I sent one of them first. The top left hole.I do think I pulled a bit on it.
Then I tried 2 different lightfield ones that have collected dust here for years. a 11/16 oz and a 1 3/8 Oz one.
I'm going with the lightfields this year.
Still confident in the SST's but want to stomp the base Good.
The guns an old remington 11-87 set up with hastings barrel and leupold scope.
Range was only 35 yards shooting unsupported its about what we shoot them at around here.....lol

It’s a °IIIII° thing 😎
I've seen what they'll do on a deer first hand and it thumps them hard.
Definitely one and done.
