ID this action please

Freezer

This was given to my nephew and though it looks like a Mauser I can't ID it. What is this?

Looks kind’a like a small ring Spanish Mauser to me but not 100% sure.

I concur, an 1893 Spanish Mauser. Check the bolt face, if the bottom is flat, it's a '93 for sure!!

Freezer

My nephew got this barreled action and a Marlin 980 that has been trashed. I'm interested in restoring the Marlin, but have no interest in the Mauser. It would cost more than it's worth to make a cheap sporter.
