Anyone tried AAC ammo...

since Palmetto State Armory bought the rights to the name in the Remington sell-off??

They've got a decent price on some ammo I'm interested in, but I'm skittish about buying a bunch of it without knowing anything about the brand's current iteration.

Ive I have heard good reports, and PSA is doing damn near everything they can to take over the whole market.

And not exactly playing nice.  Those folks spent months stringing my ex-company along with promises of a “partnership”, sucked them dry of information, methods, etc. only to go on radio silence and launch a competitive product which failed miserably…  I still buy from them because their deals are nuts but their management practices are, well, suspect.

Sounds like everyday business in this day and age.  Playing nice is for old guys that wear nice cloths and shake hands.

To a certain point.  What they did was petty and highly unprofessional.  When you deal with truly professional world class organizations it’s more about both companies winning and in my game we tend to be a lot more open with each other than most people will ever realize.

Most large corporations realized a long time ago that corporate global domination is an unachievable myth and we need alliances with each other to advance global agendas and goals.  Those that screw their “partners” get swiftly bit in the ass by “karma” as PSA found out in this instance.

That’s funny, because one of the world’s largest enterprise software companies (Infor) did the EXACT same thing to my old company. We partnered with Infor for years, and provided a needed addition to thier offering.

One day, Infor invited us to do an in depth technical demo where they went deep into how we did what we do. Then in the next update, they incorporated what we did (the exact way we did it!) into the core product.

And we paid a BoATLOAD of money for them to steal our product.

But it was funny- they still failed at doing what we did, even though they had the “secret sauce”.
