Pretty good deal on a 9mm

It's the BRG Elite 9mm pistol.  At about $200, but a guy on another board bought one for $179.  I think they're made in Turkey.  If I needed a 9mm, I'd jump on that.

I never worry about mags, I think the box contains two magazines, which is a lot of firepower.  Turkish guns (shotguns) have an OK reputation for the price.  At $200, it might be worth a try.  Definitely a clone. I read a review which said it takes XD mags.

In vid I linked above they take XD9 16rd magazines and fit in XD holsters

Interesting. It appears to have interchangeable backstraps. Good to know it takes a standard mag, as the Achilles heel of some less expensive pistols can be poor quality mags with soft feed lips.

I personally would rather not buy a Turkish made gun for quasi-political reasons, but they seem to carry a reputation for quality.

I know nothing about the politics of Turkey.  I think they're somewhat repressive.  Are they communists?
