Help pick a sling and mounts

I want to add a two point sling to the pictured AR. Seeking advice on the sling and most importantly how to best mount it. 

Leaning towards a VTAC of some sort. 

If it matters, the vertical fore grip will likely be replaced with an angled grip of some sort.

and it looks like you have a built in attachment point in the stock for that type of sling swivel.

I've been using the same Blue Force Gear Vickers sling for years and am quite pleased with it. It's probably comparable to the VTAC in design and function.

The quick adjust is pretty handy, both for getting a tight sling quickly when shooting, and for the more realistic use of it for folks in my career field: Adjusting tightness for slinging it on my back with or without body armor. Bonus points for being able to weave it through my restraint harness when flying with the doors off

More of a three-point, but Specter Gear CST with the ERB.  Can be purchased for a number of different mount options, but I'd go with Wambli's recommendation and plug a QD socket onto the side of your Magpul forend.

Has anyone used the Blue Force Gear molded wire loop attachment? I'm thinking I could use that to attach to the existing front sling loop (just below the 'MOE' in the image above)?
