AR takedown pin stiff

Building a new AR and the front takedown pin is STIFF. To back it out I have to whack it with a punch a couple of times. This is without an upper attached.

Any suggestions, other than buy another pin, spring and detent? I'm going to lube it with a penetrating oil and see if that frees it up a bit.

If it matters, I'm using an Ergo kit and something they call an enhanced takedown pin. Not too enhanced so far...

I believe their pins are at the high end of milspec. Your lower may be within spec but holes just too tight.
I have heard some say they just didn't work

Not familiar with those pin, however, when I've had a stubborn pin on a new lower putting a small dab of heavy grease in the slot has usually helped..
