Range report and self proclaimed Rambo report.

So today me and the neighbor met up with his BS'er buddy because they wanted to see how my Cobra "jennings knockoffs," fired. Naturally I took my new Ruger LCR since I haven't had the oppurtunity to shoot it yet. The neighbor, Mark, picked me up and we took a slight drive to go meet up with Rambo at his friends farm. I wasn't surprised that within 5 minutes of being at the farm and out of the car, Rambo spouted his first BS of the day..... There was a watertower that was slightly visible in the distance that he said was about 2.5 miles away (it looked about 5-7miles actually.) Mark asked him if he could hit it if he wanted to with his Fully Auto Barrett .50cal (since Mark is not gun eccentric.) Rambo says "Yep that wouldn't be nothin to my Barrett, and the bullet wouldn't have no drop." Oh boy, Lets just say I was shaking my head and biteing my lip. So than I notice BS number 2..... Rambo says he has his CCL, yet goes to the trunk to get his .45 and 9mm and grabs the mags out of the glovebox and they were unloaded. Hmmmmm.... Why bother with that garbage with a CCL???? Anywho, we finally setup the zombie silhouette targets (courtesy of Mark) and proceeded to test out the firearms. Mark tried both the .380 Cobras which actually impressed the hell out of me with no FTF or FTE at all with brass cases Aguilla ammo. Rambo took a few shots with his .45 and 9mm, which the 9mm kept jamming on him. And he also was really stressing how it was most likely the cheap steel cased ammo (it was aluminum btw.) I fired about 40 rounds through my new Ruger which was surprisingly smooth with such a light framed pistol and the trigger felt good too. I also made sure the zombie would never be able to procreate again lol. Either way, Rambo or not, it was a good morning and I minused myself two cheap pistols. I was using some cheap +P brass cased ammo in the Ruger btw.

    Actually Rambo didn't do to bad with his .45. He couldn't do much with his 9mm due to its constant jamming and him clearing it. Even Mark who has never shot anything before, did pretty well at centermass.

    "Somebody" needs to IM "Somebody" the binary recipe and "Somebody" needs to make a couple pound "Innocent" target and see how Rambo reacts ... :devil:

    ETA: of course at the appropriate distance (100 yards PLUS) and IF POSSIBLE using a FULL AUTO .50 Cal Barrett :jester:

    Maybe "unreality" or "alternate reality". But I don't think they show up on film. Hyper efficient camo, dontcha know.
