    Mostly anecdotal, I will admit, but it seems the large bulk of these reports came out about the time NYC switched wholesale from revolvers to Glocks. A lot of "accidental" discharges were reported during the transition, leading some to really question the true safety of the Austrian wunderpistolen. The "NYC" trigger was subsequently developed, along with re-training and the inevitable attrition of the old guard, and the Glock has hung on in general issue (and been somewhat instrumental in the adoption of the latest cruiser shotgun from Mossberg, the 590 with short 14" barrel and 6-shot magazine, fitted with sights to match the standard-issue Glock's 3-dot sights.)

    I've been carrying a Glock for over 20 yrs, from a full size compact and now the g26 for 5 years can't go wrong the berreta pictured is very bulky more so than th e26.
