If you don't mind something made out of steel with some heft to it, slim and small a good officer's size 1911 will work, I got a Para Ordnance OPS that shoots straight and takes no room at all. It is nice to look at too, takes 7+1 rounds with flush at the bottom Chip Mcormick magazines and 10 rounders as a backup work fine. Lots of 1911 manufacturers make fine 1911 guns in this size.
