@ NN & Mr F. Respectively,
The revolver shoots amazingly well, as you could imagine, it was at first the novelty that appealed to me since the 40S&W is my chosen caliber and also the standard issue round of the departments around here. the felt recoil is milder than a .357, but greater than a .38. As far as the cylinder itself, it has spring loaded protrusions in each chamber to grip the auto caliber. As CA puts it,..."The unique design provides a dual coil spring assembly located in the extractor which allows for the insertion and retention of the .40 caliber cartridge in each chamber of the revolvers’ cylinder. (No moon clips required) This patented system allows the shooter ease of ejecting spent cartridges for immediate reloading." Oddly enough I found the easiest way to reload is not a speed strip, but rather straight from the spare magazine I am already used to carrying. I have been pleasantly surprised by this revolver, here is a link to CA's page on the Pitbull: http://charterfirearms.com/products/Charter_Pitbull_74020.html
MagLite XL-50 LED flashlight because ya never know when you'll be left in the dark
Keys to everything
Remington folder for when ya need a cutting device and as a last ditch shall my firearm fail me
Pen and paper because ya just might need to make a note to stop for milk
Zippo lighter because fire is always good in a survival situation
And a run of the mill Glock G22 Gen3 loaded with 165gr Hornady Critical Defense carried in a Blackhawk! IWB holster with a reload of Remington UMC 180gr JHP's for when I'm out on the farm so I don't have to waste the good expensive ammo on woodchucks.
And lastly my wallet with...well everything important, cash, plastic, spare truck key, hair pins and zip ties, and a variety of forms of photo ID
My every day carry changes every day, depending on what I'm doing and where I'm going, so I'd have to post a pic every day to show my every day carry, for that day, every day.
So I won't, to avoid confusing everyone with what I do, or don't, carry, every day.
“A gun is a tool, no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.”

Looks like an LCR, two speed loaders, and a speed strip.
Nice gun Ned. Remind me to shoot the darn thing this year at Jerry's.
Does having the pic available make me a gun porn guy?

Welcome aboard.
Here are the other two loves of mine not pictured in my previous post: G27 and Charter Arms Pitbull,... both in 40S&W!
Does it head space on the case mouth?
