Is Barack Obama refered to as "Leader of the Free World?"

:uhm: After reading some post here this morning a thought dawned on me. In the past our US Presidents are refered to as: "Leaders of the Free World." Wether or not they were good leaders is questionable. I can't recall in the past 4yrs the media or anyone else for that matter, refering to Odummy as "Leader of the Free World." Do you? Pretty sad ain't it? The way I see it is like this: When Obama isn't bowing to other leaders or trying to over regulate the free market or ignoring the people dying in the Middle East or spending freely to help his agenda of which will destroy our grandchildren and their children's futures, then he is doing what he does best, NOTHING. As far as I am concerned Odummy is not the Leader of the Free World, but rather a communist, socialist marxist, kenyan illegal immigrant, antichrist sent by the Taliban, and Bin Laden, to destroy American from within. Rant over.

Maybe it's a changing attitude in the media whereby the U.S. (and its President) is no longer considered the "Leader of the Free World." It wasn't that commonly used during Pres. George Bush's terms, either.
    Meh.

Osamabama and Progresso-libs in general don't want the U.S. to be leaders of anything.

Hasn't been much use of the "Free World" term since the Soviet Union fell apart.

Unless you've been locked in the freezer for the last 50 or more years, you'd realize that the President of the United States has been referred to as the leader of the free world.
Let me say this first. I didn't vote for him, but Obama was voted in as our President. Like it or not.
We can scream, bellyache, call him names, whatever. That's all counterproductive. It's a fact.
We now may have the opportunity to change that, but it won't come about by namecalling. That's kid stuff.
It will happen when we come together and we choose a viable alternative to the present administration.
