Illinois primary ballot problems

Seems the ballots are too wide for the optical scanners, and will have to be hand counted. Hmmm..............nothing suspicious about that, is there.

"Voters headed to the polls today in Illinois, where widespread balloting problems were expected to delay official results in that state’s closely watched Republican presidential primary.
About a quarter of the state’s counties were experiencing problems with their printed ballots, a Board of Elections official said, explaining they were too wide to fit in the optical scanning machines that tally the votes. Those ballots will have to be trimmed or hand-counted after polls close at 8 p.m. Eastern."
