Stoeger 3500 field report/follow up after warranty work

I initially had a problem with the new stoeger 3500, and now want to follow up after I sent it back to Stoeger, because it was having a problem feeding 3.5" shells. The bolt was sticking back and not chambering them, unless I bumped the bolt handle. After getting it back, (they made some adjustments?) I've not had any problems with it. I ended up getting a couple of turkeys with it last week, and functioned fine! The turkey in the photo had a 10.25" beard and great spurs 1.5" curved and sharp, a true limb hanger. Well, hell yeah! Looks like it worked great to me. Beautiful bird.

I know you don't need a 3.5, but it sure does knock the poop out of a tom

Here's what was noted on the packing list that came back with the gun:

    Checked gun over--polished extractor cut--modified carrier foot--oiled gun---Function & Test Fired---2 3/4" 3" 3 1/2" Winchester Kent ok.

I'm glad it functions properly now!
