Good reads, but I notice typical government/bureaucratic pretzel logic in their decision to go with the 10mm instead of the 45 ACP (and I'm not saying one's better than the other, just saying). The study states that the 45 ACP has been around for 80 years (at the time) and so it's technology is fully developed, but the 10 mm is relatively new, so it can be improved upon. But, what technological advancements could you make to the 10 mm that you couldn't also make to the 45 ACP, thereby improving it further?

I guess it does prove the inferiority of the .270 to the 30-30.
