Hate to post this.

Not sure if anyone knows. But ADRidge, Drew a forum member and co-worker/friend to me passed two weeks ago. I hate that I didn't put anything up sooner. The link tells how it happenned.

Thank God, Drew passed doing what he loved to do the most in life, flying in a helicopter. I remember a great guy to work and shoot with. He'll be dearly missed.

RIP Drew.

I am in total shock, he was finally doing what he always wanted to do. I remember when he made the decision (which he shared with us here) to get his life together and pursue his dream of flying helicopters.

Drew, I'm glad I had the opportunity to know you and be your friend, even if we never met. Godspeed.

    sad news indeed.

Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth.
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings,
Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
I've chased the shouting wind along and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long delirious, burning blue
I've topped the wind swept heights with easy grace,
    Where never lark, or even eagle, flew;
And, while with silent, lifting mind i've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.

    Godspeed.

Airhead, thank you for posting that poem. From conversations we had, it completely describes how Drew felt when he was in the air.

Sad news I had talked with Drew about the area and I know the people he was drying cherries for and when I lived there we lived just up the street from the Orchard.

Even though we never really conversed, He will be missed greatly, Taken so suddenly, just as when My cousin Andre died at a young age also, Drew was one of those truly good people that everyone could appreciate and like.

    God speed Drew.... :angel2:
