Admitting Obama was wrong,,,is good for one's soul!!!

:applause: Yesterday when my other half came home from work, she asked me my opinion on the SCOTUS ruling on the Odummy Care package. After a brief discussion she finally admitted that she was wrong back in 2008 when she voted for odummy... I couldn't believe what I was hearing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally after trying relentlessly for four years to tell her she was wrong then and still is/was wrong I finally got it through her thick dense skull, I was right all the time. This just goes to prove what I have been saying and know about Odummy all along. To make a long post short here, she basically said that back then Odummy was a novel candidate and this was something new to this country and :blah::blah::blah::vomit: so I told her what your saying is that you voted for him because he was Black.. NO Response...[I was right] Well my opinion on that is this:
I didn't vote for Odummy because he was black on the contrary, I didn't vote for him because I didn't think he was a good choice for President. However if Colin Powell or Condelesa Rice had been running then I would have been the first to cast a vote for them, and again not because they is black, but they are wise and intelligent unlike the present day Odummy butt we have now. When my counter-part admitted that she had made a voting mistake back in 2008 my head and heart swelled with more pride than a peacock!!!!!!!! I had a smile on my face that a wire brush could not have taken off!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I am wondering if anyone here has had a similar experience with friends, family members, co-workers, etc. whom have admitted they too, made a mistake in the last election of 2008.. Remember this:
There is a difference between making an error and a mistake. "An error only becomes a mistake when ya fail to correct it." I guess my ole lady will correct her error this year and vote for Mitt Rommeny. At least he is better than what we have now, but there are still some issues about him I am uncertain about.
I have said time and time again that folks need to forget political affiliation with politicals parties, forget about race, forget about gender when ya cast your vote. One needs to follow the candidates and watch them, listen to what they are saying during their campaign and make a decision, based on numerous factors about your choice of candidate for President.. Now don't get me wrong here folks, I am a hard core Republican/Tea party type of person, right wing conservative.
Change for the "sake of change" is counter productive to me always is and always will be. Now we know all politicians lie and whatever just to get a vote, but I can't beleive,if I live to be 300 years old, how many folks were actually fooled and taken in by the Orater Odummybutt.... BTW I must admit guilt also because, back in 1976,1977???or so I did vote for Jimmy Carter, I thought he might be a little better than Walter Mondale at that time.. I have matured and grown since then...And to be honest I did then what so many Americans did for Odummy, in 2008. I voted for Carter, because he was from the South and at that time I thought we could use a good ole Southern Boy President, but then again look at Billy bob Clinton, I didn't vote for him either....Thanks for letting me Rant!!!!!

Words of wisdom from Big Chief: Flush twice, it's a long way to the Mess Hall
I'd rather have my sister work in a whorehouse than own another Taurus!
Ya got that right BigChief,, ya got that right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In my case I don't think it's so much women in general as my 3rd ole lady now!!!!!:spittingcoffee::deadhorse::spittingcoffee:
Well Make_My_Day Like I said this is #3. My first marriage was Niagra, the second, was Viagra, ........ and I ain't got no catagory for this 3rd one yet but I am working on it.:rotflmao: At the time Colin Powell came to my attention Odummy was not even heard of. Let me clear something up here. I am merely pointing out the difference in human intellectual intellect, between Odummybutt and Colin Powell. There's no contest. I was for Herman Cain, too, but now I am for Romney....Colin Powell was smart enough to stay out of a Presidential Campaign too!!!!!!!!!!!! Smart Man...
Don't think I ain't thought about it...but it wasn't because of Political differences or pro-gun issues.. My wife loves guns and we go shooting a lot. Like I said before she got herself caught up in that foolishness and the over whelming paradigm that swept the Nation about how the USA is finally going to get a Black President... I wasn't fooled I didn't vote for Odummy, I voted for McCain. Granted her political views and my political views at that time caused some imbrogilo's but nothing I couldn't handle. I am just glad I got the opportunity to tell her: "I TOLD YOU SO" that being the point of my post.
..... While we are on the subject I would like to see a Woman President some day too maybe, but not Hilary Clinton, or Nancy Pelosi, or Dianne Frankinstien etc. See what I am getting at? I still think Sara Palin would make a good President if she would just learn her geography. :spittingcoffee: At least she is Pro-gun.:guns: The only problem with getting a women president is they have to admit they are over the age of 35 and that might be hard for some to do!:rotflmao::spittingcoffee:
members say they voted for him.
Thanks NN,, good advice there... How often I forget things at my age!!!!
...OK so thanks for that information on the C. Powell, Make_My_Day. I didn't know that... Now for the rest of what you posted ^^ I will agree with that!!!!!!!!!!!!!
