Any experience with guard dog ammo

    i have some experience with it. it was stone cold reliable,never had a jam. also i haven't really done any extensive use or testing but iv heard someone say it can fail to expand properly.

    That settles it then---a lower powered rnd that will get through the wall into
    the next room contrary to marketing hype with enough energy to do a serious
    hurt on someone if it hits them, increase caliber and it could be worse.

    The handgun round over penetration thing is way over blown and a true phobia, any round can over penetrate, also, depending on your walls, and hard objects in the walls, pipes etc...... your results may vary, if I was that worried about over penetration, I would simply harden My walls with 3/4 inch plywood and call it good....


    Once a bad guy is in your house, everyone is in peril, best thing is to prevent a bad guy from getting in, in the first place, because once he is in, the risk factor is off the charts anyway..... neutralize the attack....... over penetration is the least of your worries, being aware of your lines of fire is a more valid concern....

    3/4" plywood is not enough for a lot of ammo for even handguns; shooting is the key.

    I like critical Duty better than critical defense as I think the defence version expands too fast
    though I would not worry too much using either one.
