    Doc....your point about the Dominican Republic is right on. On this very forum, how many people have gone with the 9mm over the 45 acp because of cost? At least a few. If they can't outlaw guns....just get the cost of owning and shooting so high, the end result is the same. I have no proof this is happening....but it could..

    My point is about cause and effect. You people are talking about an effect that will never change unless the cause is addressed. Juan Bosch tried to address the cause in 1962 but it didn't work out so well. The Dominican Republic is governed from Palm Beach county Florida.

    Good points Wambli. When people get alarmed or upset about a given situation, they usually don't follow it back to the initial cause. In the case of the DR, almost everything that happens there is in the interest of sugar and a family named Fanjul. Great, I'll be having black helecopters flying around my house in a little while.
