I was looking to get my dad the new Winchester SXP for his 50th birthday, I know he will love it for bird hunting and waterfowl but we also deer hunt and I was wondering does anyone know if they make a smooth bore slug barrel for this gun and/or would a Winchester 1300 barrel work instead?

Any insight would be appreciated. thanks

They have a slug gun model, so the barrel exists (22" fully rifled)....... For a smoothbore slug gun, just have a gunsmith add rifle sights to the 18" cylinder bore barrel. Or use a scope or reddot with the Cyl barrel...
