SEC does it again.....WTH

SO, UGA handed the Gators their tails. The score would have been more of a spread if the UGA receivers were catching the ball....Murray was on, Receivers were dropping balls that were hitting them in the numbers/hands. UGA defense was a BEAST. Jarvis Jones will be an all pro one day.
But, now the SEC only has allowed these teams from lesser conferences to move up. If Miss ST beats Bama, they should go straight to number 1. Hands down!
In other news...FSU won, USC and Ohio lost (most over rated teams every year), and that is the only thing that really matters.

Gators will lose again on 24 NOV.
Alpha..you're right...But it so hard to keep track of those teams that are in the lesser conferences...Pac 10, Big 10, etc ....
hehehe Alabama 38 Miss St 7. Alabama is still number One and the SEC rules the NCAA.

Don't cherry pick. Let's look at the entire series. Dawgs are up, 50-40-1.
Ok ok... This is the standing record since I've been alive. LoL
Reed (UF #11) will go first round when he goes to the draft. He was off saturday, but that guy is wicked fast and has great hands. Almost like Percy Harvin, but healthy.
SEC is hands down the best conference in the NCAA....I admit this even though I am an ACC (FSU) guy....They is no competition in the PAC 10, zero, zip. Being the best in the PAC 10 is like saying "we are the best Red Team"...Oregon being ranked at all is a catastrophe. Their hardest game on the schedule this year was Arkansas. The bottom rung of the SEC. Back to my analogy of Israelis and Arabs....It is not hard to look good when the competition is sub par to start with. But, I want a PAC 10 team to stay toped ranked so when they get rolled by another SEC team, maybe we can get BCS to finally understand the PAC 10 is over rated. They have only had three showings in the past 12 years and lost two of them. Heck USC had to cheat to get there twice.
As much as it pains me to say this, I don't think there's a team in the country that can stay with 'Bama. It may be possible that someone can catch them sleeping or on a down day and squeak by, but every time I've seen them play they have just been awesome. And I'm not a Tide fan.
Interestingly enough, I was talking to a couple of die-hard Alabama fans yesterday, and they were concerned about my own Texas A&M Aggies. The Ags have done a lot better since joining the SEC than most have projected, but I don't see them staying with the Tide. There's just too much of a discrepency in talent.
Those same Alabama guys were grateful for the whupping we put on Auburn, though.

K-State is playing strong football. If they stay number 2, that will be a good game against Alabama. Everyone else in the top 5 is a wash and have been given pity points in the BCS.
Here's what I don't get, the Pac-12 (yes it's the pac-12 now) has 3 teams in the top 10 they lose to a team in the same confrence. And fall in the rankings, everyone then cries "I told you so I told you so, they suck" but an sec team loses a game in confrence and all of a sudden that unranked team from that confrence is the best team in the nation. I mean to hear people talk about it you would think all the sec teams should be ranked 1 thru 14.
That was a beat down whupping. Folks down here are really upset with that football program right now.
As far as these things going around I know what you mean. I been watching Alabama football as long as I can remember learning the game and they can be wishy washy, up and down in one season much less in season to season. But I think things are improving for a lot of schools sports programs these days and it's from growing teams getting scheduled to play the power house teams. I believe it's an incentive for young players.

I won't speak for Missouri, but A&M is having one of their best seasons in years. We're 7-2, 4-2 in SEC play with our only losses to Florida and LSU, and both of those were close games. Your nickname suggests you're an Arkansas fan. If so, you don't have a lot to be bragging about this year.

It took everything 'Bama had last night to pull this off. If Les Myers had made a few different calls, it might have gone the other way. Regardless, hats off to the Tide for making the plays when they had to. I'm just hoping my Ags can stay close. Maybe we'll catch them flat after last night's game.

My take was it took LSU everything they had to stay in the came and was helped by the Alabama mistakes. As far as the Tide vs the Aggies, I never watch a Alabama football game thinking it's a sure win because I've seen the Tide blow a few in the past.

I agree Paul. The chance to play in the SEC is good thing for the recruiting in all the sports of the school program.

I think it will be a good game. A&M has a more talented QB, but he's young (a redshirt freshman), and his inexperience may be the difference. But, more likely, it will probably be Bama's line that makes the difference. It would not surprise me for the Ags to take a lead, and perhaps even carry into the 3rd or 4th quarter, and then give it up.
In all reality, though, I'm just hoping for a close game. After all, Alabama is rated number 1, while A&M is rated number 15, and the game is at Alabama. You're supposed to win games like that.
You can do your trash talking after the game. I learned a long time ago that it's easy to make bold predictions, but not so easy to eat the occassional crap sandwich that comes with a loss.
Here's to a good game.
