Young buck becomes garlic pepper jerky...

When our governing officials dismiss due process as mere semantics, when they exercise powers they don’t have and ignore duties they actually bear, and when we let them get away with it, we have ceased to be our own rulers.

What brand of dehydrator are you using?

Details! You make your own cure, or use store bought?

It's the biggest unit Cabela's sold four years ago.

This batch was modified store bought. Hi Mountain Original, with added garlic and coarse ground pepper.

I"ve used several of the Hi Mountain varieties, but never added anything to them. Good stuff.

That's one heck of a big dehydrator you have. How much meat will it dry at one time?

This batch was 8 lbs. If I optimized meat placement, I could get around ten lbs per run.

Is that he weight of the processed jerky, or the weight of the meat that went into the dehyderator? I'm guessing the former, as I have a round 4 tray dehydrator and I can get 4-5 lbs. on meat on it before it's dried. After drying, the weight is usually about half of what it started out.
