How much data do you actually use?

For those of you with limited data plans (Verizon, etc): how often, if ever, do you actually exceed it? I'm considering a switch from Sprint to Verizon.

You'll have to go with the Share Everything plan. Basic phones are $30 a month. Smart Phones are $40 a month. Tablets are $10.
You get a bucket of data that ALL the devices share. It starts off a bit steep with 1GB being $50, but 4gb is $70, and every 2gb bump after that is $10. Nice thing is you can check your data throughout the month. If you notice you'll be going over, you can get them to bump it to the next level, and back-date it to the beginning of the month, then future data the change back to where you were the next month. As long as you catch it before the next bill cycle starts. Beats paying overages.
Also most smart phones now can use wifi. If you happen to be in a wifi area, use the wifi instead of your data.
