It's time to begin ordering parts. This will be a road that tests my patience and anxiety to shoot the gun as well as my wallet. :yikes: But it will be worth it. Here is what I am going with:

Barrel:
Broughton 5C, Contour 7.7 (hvy varmint: 1.250" breech / .940" muzzle) -- I'm still whittling down a decision on length

Muzzle:
OPS INC brake (.970"OD turned down to .940")

I think I'm going to opt for the 6mm caliber brake and have it reamed out to about .314" or .324" or so to have the nominal +.030"-.040" for a 7mm bullet)

Trigger:
Jewell set to about 5oz, I think.

Other:
I will have the recoil lug replaced with a beefier one. I already have the B&C Medalist "Tactical" stock to put his baby in. It has a monolithic aluminum block in the stock, so pillars are unecessary. After bedding, it will be as sturdy as Gibraltar. I am going to look around for bottom metal, too. Its currently a BDL, so I need to find BM that will just enclose the bottom. She is going to be a single shot.

I will also buy a new bolt knob for looks and some added functionality. I am undecided on bolt embelishment like twisting fluts, but we'll see. Glass is...way down the road. Not even worried about that yet.

Oh, time and money...plenty of one, little of the other. :cuss:
