Good lord the people at Colt are sloooooooow!
I sent in for an archive letter for my 1st generation Colt Peacemaker. I paid my $150 by CC and thought I would have it in just a few weeks. I got a post card in the mail today saying they are currently running 120 to 150 days out for archive letters, 5 months? Its not like I'm having a gun built by Colt, I had always heard they had very good records and were fairly fast on getting them back. After all these years my curiosity finally got the best of me and now I gotta sit and wait.
