Is ALQAEDA comming for us again?

I caught a glimpse of this on the news yesterday, so I thought I would web surf this morning. I don't know one way or the other if there is as much as an ounce of truth to this, but given the fact we killed Bin Laden, and the killing of Afghanistan civillians then there could be some truth to this. The last paragraph in the article states:
It is still unclear at this point whether the recent events and threats are related to Bin Laden's killing, or if the threats are even credible. Further investigations by the authorities should provide more information on the seriousness of the threats

Robert, I believe that Al Qaida has never given up on attacking us. Like Alph says, it's their mission in life. It's just that Bush made it so hard on them they could never pull it off here. They did in Europe a couple of times but the UK an the US were hard for them to crack. But with Nobammy in control, no telling what they're planning. However, to his credit, he did listen to some good advice when he kept Robert Gates on the job after he took office. If Bush would have canned Rummy way back and gotten Gates, I think he would have looked a lot better. Gates and Petraeus were a hell of a combo under any administration. However, I think up until we killed bin Laden, they had pretty well relaxed the idea of attacking here because I really think they thought Obama was no threat to them and were willing to wait until someone else was in office. But now that they see Obama's administration was capable of killing their head man, they will no doubt, in my opinion, come back on us if and when they get a chance. We can't give them that opportunity.

    Snake,
We've all seen the last vidio of Bin Laden.
A beaten person, watching a TV with an old fashioned remote, freezing his butt off, holed up in what they called a luxury villa.
His organization capitalized on our failure to realize that second or third world extremists could take advantage of our lax national security.
And now we complain of screening in airports.

They were using up all of their $$$ and manpower fighting in Iraq and Afganistan. Once we pull out, they will be able to save their dimes and nickels again. Plus their members will have a life expectancy long enough to train for something bigger than an IED....

All the more reason to drone 'em, and drone 'em, and then drone 'em some more. Can't think of a better way to manage a threat than to do it long distance, using every techno advantage we have to keep them in a hole eating sardines. I have no pity for those folks who wake up every day trying to find new ways to kill Americans. Precision is the key, of course.

And then drone 'em some more.

The question isn't if Al Qaeda wants to attack us again, of course they do! That's their #1 mission in life. The more important question is if they still have the capability to do anything significant.

I believe that AL-Qaeda still has the capability to attack us. Never under estimate your enemies/opponents. I know AL-Qaeda has money and members that would like nothing more than to see the total Annihilation of the United States and it's way of life. I do think that it might just be a matter of time and schedule, before we see another Islamic attack like 9-11.

Its all about blowback. Their only mission is to get us out of the Arabian Peninsula. Why do we continue to fail to simply read and adhere to the reports.

You can say what you want about Nobammy, but he certainly hasn't been a dove. The Obama administration has ramped up the targeted drone strikes massively, taking out more targets than Bush did. Obama's opposition to Guantanamo means that the US has basically adopted a "shoot-first" policy - we don't try to capture our enemies, we just bump 'em of with Reapers.
