    Might I point out the Hi Power's extractor went from internal to external in the early 60's. That's why I could kick myself for not getting my grandpa's Hi Power :bang:. We just don't see the numbers of Hi Powers like 1911s ...

    I get hammer bite like no other from the Hi Power. No problem with original 1911A1's or anything, only the Hi Power bites me. I guess I've been too indoctrinated with the high grip. Too bad, because I think they are really neat.
