Benelli SuperNova Tactical or Nova Pump Tactical 12 GA Shotguns for home D?
I'm considering one of two home defense 12 GA Shotguns; The Benelli SuperNova Tactical Pistol Grip or the Benelli Nova Pump Tactical.
I'd appreciate it if anyone could tell me the differences between these two guns, besides of course that one has a pistol grip and one does not.....
FYI, I’m a novice shooter interested in learning more, but my knowledge is limited. To my untrained eye, they look the same to me…..
Thank you!

Of the two, I would go with the one that has a full stock for Home Defense. Reason being, is that especially since you're a novice I think a pistol gripped 12 gauge would be difficult to handle and thus not very fun to practice with. Plus, you could throw a 26" or 28" barrel on the regular stocked one and have a dandy gun for bird hunting or for skeet/trap/sporting clays.

The 870 is King as far as parts go.
I like a pistol grip short barreled personal defense shotgun with a 4 round magazine, it suits Me and I am used to it.

Yea, this. There is nothing wrong with the other two guns, but there is limited aftermarket goodies. The 870 is tried/true.
I like the Pistol Grip caust it has the grip and sights.
My baby now has the 870
And Welcome!
