Total newbie home SD question

Does keeping my xdm. 45 loaded at full capacity for extended periods of time weaken the spring in the magazine and effect shooting performance - or is it a non issue?

    Yup, modern spring steel is an awesome thing. It is the cycling that causes wear, full compression or no compression will do very very little. Might need a new mag in a few hundred years....
