Ruger SR9C

Was looking at a SR9C to get for CC. Fits right into my price range. Don't know much about it, though. Does anyone know if it has any issues, or if it's a good gun? My other option was an XDm. Too bad I can't get both!

I have put well over 1,000 rounds through her without so much as a hickup.
I do agree with Chris that the LCI is butt ugly but it does serve its purpose even in the dark.
The mag disconect is another thing that (at first) I hated untill I pondered on it some.
If a BG wants to try to wrestle my gun from me I'll hit the mag rel and drop the mag and let him have the now useless gun, however he better start to worry about the LCP that always resides in my hip pocket.Or my knife.
Now I wont try to say that this is the ultimate plan or that there aren't going to be situatitions where the mag disconect might get a fella in trouble but but all in all I'm quite pleased with my SR9c.
If I do my part she'll shoot 4" groups at 25 yards and I find that exceptable for a carry gun.

Which is another reason I like the older Smith autos. I like the MD, you just have to seat the mags with authority. A few simple training sessions fixes that.

Or in the tussle you or the BG bumps the mag release as you fight him off of you enough that you can take a shot and find that you can't. I hate mag discos because they render the firearm useless. If I don't want it to go bang, I will clear it, not just drop the mag. The only useful case of a mag disco is where my uncle works. If they have to enter the psych ward their policy is to clear their weapon first. With the disco, they don't even have to unholster. Other than that, I personally don't have a use for them...
