  Cool idea. Expensive, but I like it. I do wish they weren't all pleated... I hate pleated khakis/cargos. I'm a plain front kind of guy.

  You do not have to go expensive, I was given some uniform type cargo pants, they have extra large heavy duty pockets, and I know they can be modified to conceal a handgun.

  You mean like field uniform trousers, I never could stand something heavy in those cargo
  pockets and always thought they snagged on stuff and riped too easily.

  Another issue with BDU-type cargo pants is that the pocket's pretty far down the leg. You have to have long monkey arms or be seated to make drawing from those side pockets approaching easy.

  I wear BDU' s with cargo pockets, and wearing a 24 oz pistol in a holster that far down your leg without it being strapped tightly to your leg is not comfortable , moves a bunch and access is not easy. I bought a cargo pocket holster and was disappointed with my Makarov , and PA63. Might be OK with a lightweight like an LCP.

  I wear bdu style cargo pants every day and I really like the cargo pockets for bug and mag. I have carried my .38 or PF9 just dropped in with no issues. There are also holsters made to fit into the cargo pocket and help stabilize the handgun and extra mag.

  True. Carrying in a slant side pocket that has been modified specifically to accommodate a firearm, though... Not bad.
