Been Gone A While

twatwa Posts: 2,245 Senior Member
Oh, how I have missed the wisdom of the usual names on the forum. It has been quite a while since I have visited, and am planning on making it a habit once again. I have stirred it up a few times in the past, especially with my "judge" posts - he he:roll2:

Not many new purchase in the past year, the boy went off to college now, and I find myself bored to death! (and broke)
Although I did pick up a PMR30 a few weeks ago and have only taken it out once without a hitch, so pretty fun stuff there.

Looking forward to getting back here and getting in the mix.

Welcome back! You have to give us a good range report on that PMR30 when you get the chance. I think that could be one of the neatest production pistols in the last five years IMO.

In your travels have you run on any new revelations on Barrel break in or .270 Winchesters? What about the argument over which is best, the 94 Win. or the 336 Marlin, both in 30-30 Win of course.

And, IS the 1911 still king?
