For Georgia members: Massive positive overhaul to GA gun laws

I posted here because it seems crucially relevant to personal defense and probably get more notice than in the 2A forum.

http://www.ajc.com/news/news/state-regional-govt-politics/bill-proposes-massive-overhaul-to-georgia-gun-laws/nQRN7/Georgians would be allowed to carry concealed weapons in bars, public schools, most government buildings, college campuses and other locations under a sweeping gun bill filed in the House.
In addition to banishing many current restrictions, House Bill 981 would prevent police or the National Guard from disarming people during states of emergency, and it would allow citizens to sue if that occurred.

Thank you for posting this, Al.
You are welcome! I'm always happy to see legislations like this in the work.

I wish. It was next on Ohioans for Concealed Carry's list to push thru. Until the psycho Akron cop threatened to shoot a guy for not announcing his permit quick enough. They put all effort behind that bill.
No I didn't see that. Talk about bad police work. Not securing the individuals or the scene before doing a search on top of the treatment of the driver. To me that is what gives cops a bad name.
Thanks for the video I'm definately going to check out the ohio ccw site.
