That's a really nice rifle! Ought to be good for whatever you intend to harvest.

Question: Where did you ever find a can of red lead primer for the barrel? That stuff been illegal for AGES! I slapped a buncha that stuff on the ship when I wasn't busy standing some sort of watch. :tooth:

It is not the first time.
I shoot rifle more often than some people realize.
Not my rifle, but it sure is a sweet shooting rig: Holland custom rig, 280 Rem, 168 Berger

Yes, but don't tell anyone that my first center-fire rifle was a Ruger 77, chambered in 270 Winchester:yikes:

I was 22 years old when I bought it.
Purchased a Lee Load All and used the dipper (no scale) for powder.
Had an old Redfield scope on it.
Never shot anything with it but paper and never beyond 100 yards. I guess that is good, because I didn't know at the time the bullet wouldn't make it much past that distance:rotflmao:
Traded after a couple of months when I starting getting into handguns seriously.

I guess I need to either get it re-cerakoted or wear pink-camo to match it:tooth:

Well you could just give it to your wife and get one in desert Tan.

If I really wanted to re-Cerakoted, I could get any color I wanted, as could anyone else.
That is the cool thing about cerakote.

Our son came home for short time this weekend and after I showed him the Gen 3 Elim, he thought it was pretty cool.
We are going to put the other Eliminator (Got it last fall) on his 15" MOA chambered in 6.5x47 Lapua for antelope and deer.
This will also work as his LRF for his hunting partner who doesn't have one.
With the MOA his shots on lopes will be under 500 anyway, so it should be pretty easy if the conditions are good.

I think I have learned my lesson.
