Has anyone every went hog hunting in a helicopter before? I'm trying to get a buddy of mine to start a business in doing so, what are you thoughts on it?
I haven't done it myself, but have heard it described by someone who liked it. His opinion is that it all depends upon the pilot. With a good pilot, it is a pure massacre with 12 gauge buckshot at close range. I understand the necessity for it, and might even participate, but I wouldn't call it 'hunting' - more like pest extermination. But heck, shooting rats in the barn is fun, too.
To be a worthwhile business venture, I think you would need to have big ranchers, in open country, and get paid at both ends - a bounty from the ranchers and a fee from the hunters. Fuel and maintenance is very expensive.
