Donald Trump says: He has 'Very Big' news about Obama....

I can't wait to hear what he has to say,can you? I know a lot of folks here don't take much stock in what Trump has to say but this might be interesting.

Donald Trump says he has an announcement to make about President Obama but, because this is Donald Trump, he shoved himself onto everyone's television this morning to announce that he'll announce his announcement on Wednesday. "[It's] something very, very big concerning the president of the United States," he said when he called in to Fox and Friends. "It's going to be very big. I know one thing, you will cover it in a very big fashion." BUT IS IT GOING TO BE BIG, DONALD? He hinted that it will "possibly" affect the election but we know it'll definitely involve more coverage of Donald Trump.

When I think about it, I believe Trump tried this same thing four years ago and it was so significant that I don't even remember what it was about.

I think Trump is just going off of the "Any publicity is good publicity" rule for himself.

At this point with Trump, the only thing that would be significant is actual video of Obama being born in Kenya or something. Anything less just has the potential or hurt the Republicans by association.

Yeah Ace, he's reminding me of Ross Perot. Perot didn't listen and went ahead and ran in the election so vainly thinking he could win as an independent, but just stealing enough votes to let slick win and beat GHW Bush. Then in 2004, when W was running again he was campaigning for him. Doesn't make much sense, he shot down GHWB and then was campaigning for Jr. Bush. These guys are always egotistacle. When they do something of note, they all of a sudden believe they have been touched by God to lead the world on. They have it partially right, they are truly "TOUCHED" The only thing big about Trump, besides his ego is his bank account. But he came by it at birth. I don't think he's a self made man.

    I just read the announcement.

    Oh.
    My.
    God....

Trump will donate $5 million to charity if the President will release his college transcripts, college applications, passports, and passport applications by October 31.

    I'm so excited. It's just soooooooooooooooooo earth-shattering.

BTW, what Trump did... is not "news" about Obama. It's an announcement, an offer, but he doesn't have any information.
    Meh.

He should donate $5 million anyway because he has made us put up with that comb over...

Yeah, but he gave us Ivanka Trump, so I think it's a wash.

Donald Trump, or his "announcement"? Because if it's either one of those... I agree. If it's both, I agree.

I was kinda hoping that he would've turned up dead before he made his announcement.

Imagine what the conspiracy theorist would've done with THAT! :rotflmao:

Snake... Weren't you the guy that said that Romney was a douche and that we needed a real leader like Donald Trump? I might be mistaken, but someone on here was saying that. I am too lazy right now to dig up old threads tonight.

The divorce papers were what Trump was rumored to have. But he announced his offer. So I would imagine he doesn't have rumors.

And who cares if there's divorce papers from the Senate days? Last time I checked they're still married...
    Meh.

I was thinking the "announcement," but now that you bring it up, Trump as well. Maybe he should use his 5 mil to find out some real information.

Just thought I'd add this too: http://www.examiner.com/article/donald-trump-fired-from-management-of-trump-place

    From the article:
Trump's announcement today appears to be an attempt to tamp down coverage of the Trump Organization being fired on Tuesday as the management company for Trump Place.

Effective Nov. 1, AKAM Living Services will take over the management duties of Trump Place. The upscale New York City condominium felt it was time to make a change. Condominium board members said they had given the Trump Organization several years to improve their service. The service did not improve to the board's satisfaction.

I will admit towards the beginning of the primaries that I thought he would make an interesting candidate. He was always an egotistical blowhard, most politicians are, but over the past year or so he's really gone off the deep end with some of this crap.

I thought he'd be something different, to be honest. I was hoping Tim Pawlenty would stay in or get Chris Christie or Bobby Jindal to join. I never liked Romney from the previous primaries. Rick Perry shot himself in the foot (and apparently had to take pain killers to treat it...), Newt had way too much baggage, and I think half the right couldn't stand Santorum and Bachman.

I wonder if Herman Cain had stayed in and won the primary if he'd be winning the general right now... At least he had ideas. I personally don't think 9-9-9 would have worked, but it WAS a fresh idea.

OK First off, I've edited this about four times in the last 15 minutes (OK it's up to six times now) so if you caught it inbetween that's why it changed.

Jerm, I'll never say never to something I may have said on here and if I did I stand corrected because I'm not saying Never, but "NO!" I'm thinkin I'm the wrong guy (But not totally sure). I will say that if I said it that it was an exaggeration because I don't think for a minute that Trump could tie Romney's shoes, even before I liked Romney. All I knew for sure was that I was going to vote for whatever Republican got the nomination.

In the beginning I wasn't a Romney guy. Back then he struck me as an opportunistic politician who would say anything to look good to the electrolate But thinking back, I had never really heard him stand up and speak. Back then I was a Herman Cain Guy. But then the Libs couldn't bear the thought of a conservative black doing good. That blows their lie apart that they press, that blacks need the Dummycratic party because they are not capable of doing it on their own. Well maybe after they were first freed and most of them had been prohibited from learning to read, but everyday you see blacks that hold every position in the country and some who have made their fortunes on their own. Look at Herman Cain. He's a real Southern black. He is insulted by the Dummycraps and the NAACP. All both have done in the last 30 years is hold them back. Blacks don't need any certain party. They are, their leaders at least, past that.
So the low lifes trumped up the charges, no pun intended, and finally caused him to back out of the race. I still have mucho respect for Mr. Cain and anyone like him.

I never had a handle on who Mitt Romney was, just that I remembered his dad George back in the day. But these debates did have one positive results in that they really introduced him to the country . I know he's had plenty of coverage in the primaries, but it seemed like there he would just sit back and wait til an opportune moment to say something that made him look good, more or less. But now, he's stepping out and being really heard. This recent exposure has really changed my oppinion of him. Also I see that he and his family are really stellar folk. They are mormon, a religion I have had exposure to, that made me not desire to be one. However, I have great respect for most Mormons I've know. I say most, because I have known a couple of dogs, but if I'm fair about it I've known my share and a lot more dogs in other religions. Overall I think Mormons are great citizens and I have no problem with one being our president. Hell I mean right now we have a closet Muslim, so what the heck??? I think you see where I'm going with this. It's just to say I think I'm going to be proud to have Mitt Romney as my president.

Now I'm seeing that my choice is no longer by default. It's no longer a choice between the lesser of two evils. It's going to be for what i believe in, Not for a last resort, but for a good, smart American Team, Romney-Ryan.

Bobby Jindal looks good for the future but he's not got the national appeal or support to be a presidential candidate yet. I also liked Cain but apparently his numerous affairs would have sunk him if he'd stayed in -- his wife just wouldn't let it go forward. Too much baggage.

Romney won fair and square. He won more delegates and got more contributions to continue his campaign. Folks were free to send their money to others but Mitt was better organized and got more votes.

Overall, I tend to think he's the best candidate, although others did have good ideas and strong points.

That's simply water over the dam now. What we have to realize is that ANY vote not-for-Romney is essentially a vote-for-Obama. I know that Texas will go for Romney but you folks in swing states had better think long and hard about using your vote to protest Romney not being conservative enough, or whatever. Sitting back and thinking "it was my way of protesting" will be of faint value should Obama win another 4 years.
