  I'm sitting in the blind right now but not too hopeful tonight, front blew in about 1:00 so it's pretty windy right now. I guess I'll wait and see if it calms down a little by dark and if not I'll be here till next Thursday.

  Thanks all. I will probably take the CZ 270 for this one. I've never hunted in this spot and I usually use my 30-30 since it's so thick.
  
  But the only way I can hunt is on the opposite side of the pond or I'll be right on top of him, and I'll be making a125 yard shot.
