  It is a toss up between Zombie or golden saber.
  
  The zombie version is a little cheaper than critical defense, otherwise the same except for a
  brass case vice nickle plated.
  
  The golden saber at 102 gr is the heaviest I've found.

  I carry golden sabers in mine. At the LGS they did have 110 gr .380 rounds but I can't remember the brand. I just remember thinking that is a lot of bullet for a .380 to push.

  Winchester's got a 95 grain white box load (Q4206 if I remember correctly), that has a flat-nosed FMJ. That would be my choice. The gelatin results of expanding .380's show penetration that is iffy at best, and downright unacceptable in many cases. With the little pipsqueak rounds, you have to choose between deep holes and wide ones, and wide holes that fail to reach vital plumbing aren't terribly helpful.

  Been packing Glasers in my .380 since I can remember. Actually , the first 3 rounds are Glasers , the rest and spare mag are ball.
  
  In the old Marshall/Sanow reports , the Winchester Silvertip was the best. There wasn't all these fancy hi-tech bullets back then.

  Moving up a bit in case size and bullet diameter helps. The 9X18 Makarov sort of splits the difference in .380 and 9MM power and the little single stack P-64 pistol makes for an easily-concealed and affordable option for a carry piece. The Wolff spring kit solves the horrendoulsy stiff double action trigger problem, and it can be carried safely with the hammer down on a chambered round. The safety totally disconncets the trigger, and it's double action for the first round once the safety is released, single action afterwards. There are some pretty potent hollowpoints available in 9X18 and the bullet diameter is .360".

  I like the Buffalo Bore +p JHP. They are accurate and reliable in my PPK. I used to carry the 102 grain Golden Saber, but I like the velocity that the BB round generates. They are a bit expensive, but every so often you can get them on sale at Cabelas or Bass Pro

  This is what I load for my Walther PPK,95gr flat FMJ. Also use the Ball FMJ...

  The Hornady Critical Duty ammo seems to be one of better new rounds. I carry the Hornadys in my 9mm for the first 6 shots. I'll report on the next home invasion. :up: Later,
