Dust and CDL licenses: Farming and ranching under seige by Feds

The EPA, in their infinite 'wisdom', have decided that dust is a pollutant, and want to regulate dust on farms and ranches. Been reading about this for over a year, and didn't think this would ever see daylight, but with the current administration run by fools, and the mentally deficient and morally bankrupt, it looks like this rule will pass. Here's a little blurb on it.

Not to be outdone, the government dweebs (probably the Transportation dept. or the ICC) have decided that farmers hauling their produce to market need a CDL license if they have to haul it more than 150 miles. Do these people in Washington, D.C. have two viable brain cells left to hold a thought or a bit of common sense? It appears the prognosis on that question is bleak. Here's a Congressman's take on the whole sordid affair.

It is truly sad that farmers and ranchers are unable to take two-three years off and let the masses of hungry people descend on Washington, D.C. and cannibalize the whole lot of morons, dumb donkeys, and inept donkeyholes infesting the place. Borrowing from Shakespeare, "Tis a consummation devoutly to be wished".

What the :devil::cuss:cuss::mad is those idiots in Washington and the EPA thinking?????????? This is an outrage!!!!!!!!!! more than an outrage!!!! These nincompoops and sub-micro brain cell politicians are messing around in areas, they ain't go no business messing around with!!!!!!!!! How does one control dust?
that makes as much sense as screen doors on a submarine!!!!!!!! Who thinks up these idiototic inept, concepts? These brainless, inept, mentally deficient, stupid, over-educated, bleeding-heart liberals, can't think for themselfs, idiots need to be rounded up and herded onto a C-130 and dropped into a huge tank of venimous, vipers, and let the vipers have them for lunch. Not only that they will be right at home with the viper brothers.
Its bad enough that almost all the small mom and pop farms have disappeared, but when the Politicians start messing around with our food supply, then they have to be stopped and stopped now, before they cause the greast violent food war this world has ever seen.........
They is a lot of subjects and areas on this planet that I know nothing about, nor do I understand...But this ^^^^^^^^^ " I just don't get this at all!!!!!!!!!!
I was raised in the farming communities of NC during the 1960's and 1970's. I have seen what it takes to produce food, and other thing that we consume on a daily basis, and it ain't for sissey's either... (Of course getting old like me ain't for sissey's either). This EPA or ICC or who ever it came from is just totally UNACCEPTABLE IN ANYWAY OR FORM!!!!!!!!
... There are two catagories of folks who I stand behind, or would be willing to stand in front of (to protect them, if need be), and those are US military Veterns, and Farmers.........
If there is enough money in the federal budget for these clowns then there surely must be plenty to go around.
Imagine if Obama gave a speech where he says he heard about this issue and reversed their decision, fired the nit-wits and closed down their entire department. He just might earn an ounce of respect.
Hey, a guy can dream can't he?
Paul
:win: Another example of useless government.
:roll2: :rotflmao: That would NEVER happen. It's far more likely that he'd appoint a committee to investigate whether or not he needs to appoint a committee to investigate whether or not they need further regulation on dust control.

No LOL crap here, that got an honest-to-God, right out loud chuckle!

Defunded would work; I was thinking more along the lines of carpet bombing.:silly::jester: The Obama appointees in these departments have not one single clue about agriculture and the food chain in general. Even the least intense form of planting, no-till, raises a good dust in dry ground; and dry ground is needed for planting. Trying to plant in wet soil is........................unsatisfactory. Harvesting corn, wheat, soy beans, whatever, raises a dust from the dirt that has settled on the crops. Even the 'tater' harvesters raise a good bit of dust getting the tubers out of the ground; same for peanuts.
Here's an idea: Make the department heads of these gov't agencies that wish to regulate such things actually work part time in farming and ranching. From preparing the equipment, repairing the equipment in the field, planting, harvesting, and getting the crops and animals to market. And by that I mean that they get down in the dirt and get their hands dirty, not sit around in front of a PC Googling crap on the internet. If they had to hose off about 10 lbs of real estate off their worthless carcasses every night, they just might attain enlightenment on how all that good food gets to their tables. Shoveling a few loads of animal poop would give them new perspective on the poop they expel in their gov't departments, maybe.

During the obama's midwest bus tour, some farmer asked him to not impose regulations on him, as he and his fellow farmers know what they were doing. It appeared that obama didn't even know what he was talking about.
You would think that with all the tax money that flows into Washington, SOMEONE could buy a clue.
Gun control laws make about as much sense as taking ex-lax to cure a cough.

then there is the requirement for air filtration equipment to cleanse to air in the tents.
:agree::that: I have said this before and allow me to say it again: "Farming ain't for sissy's", "Getting old ain't for sissy's either"... That's a wonderful idea^^^^^^!
Nah, California pushed this at the state level a few years ago.
