Dont forget to show these kind threads to your kid. It seemed to help set the tone for all of mine. Took the youngest out last night. She is on a mentored youth permit so I have to carry the rifle and give it to her when there is a target. She had sat with her mom when the other 2 (on jr lic.) took their deer and she saw nothing. We had 5 smooth heads, 3 yearling and 2 doe walk within 40 yards of the stand and one Y buck that would NOT give us a shot. It was OK, because I had her aim on the antlerless and she was able to scope each one. She said she was on the spot, then moved the scope to the next one. When we got down, she was saying "That was so cool!"
It's boring, and your lack of creativity knows no bounds.
