What rifle do you want?
If Santa would answer that danged Email, what would you have him bring?
I was thinking a short 18in bbl, rifle (need stock length 13.5in LOP, carbines don't fit) in 30-40 Krag with a 2-4 power fixed euro post scope would be nifty for deer in my woods.
If he came across a Ruger #1 A or B in 25-06 or even better 257 Roberts I would be a happy little boy.
A Mod 94 32 Win Special, because that was what I started on and it was stolen before I got a deer in front of it.

It's boring, and your lack of creativity knows no bounds.

Recoil is how you know primer ignition is complete.
Hell, since I'm starting to reload, maker it a 45-110
The only other rifles I could think of would be a tack driving fast twist 223 bolt rig or an Open F-Class rifle in 284 Win or 7mm SAUM.
I know this response is going to get ZEE all wound up, so you all need to help me keep him check:rotflmao:

Realistically...... Rock River Coyote.
Not sure what I would do with it, there are not many Cape Buffalo or other dangerous game in South Florida, but my late Fatherinlaw had one and I got to fire it a few times and oh boy when you pull the trigger you know you shot a rifle.
Unfortunately he gave that one to a cousin who took it to Africa.
What a hog rifle! Hogs can be dangerous...kinda, sorta...

Legal (For now) here? An Uberti 1873 replica, 24" octagon barrel in .357/.38. Would like an original Mauser K98k too.
Won't ask for a .22LR CZ-455 full stock 'cause now it's closer to me than waiting for a Santa delivery (%#@& customs!)
.358 Norma
You're going to LOVE that rifle. Congrats!
Or a nice Sharps!
After seriously looking (w/o going on a nation wide search i.e. gunbroker or other such) for last 5 years or so, I have only found 3 (2 700s & 1 788) but they were all way too rough and beat up for the price the owners were asking.
If Santa doesn't come through for me, this will be my next project.

Edited to hopefully fix link
Personal preference only but I wouldn't choose a .308 but dang that rifle is gorgeous. I see a lot of you guys like those CZs. I'm completely ignorant about them. Why do y'all like them so much

...actually, Santa should be here a little early, about the end of next week. He found one on sale, & w/ a 6X18 VX-2 LR mounted it came to just a little more than the "MSRP" listed...
A very accurate AR to be built on my Anvil Arms lower. Be nice to get on with that matching set.
On the other hand, a single-shot in .45-70, some kinda "buffalo gun" would really trip my trigger, too.
We're not so different, you and I.
