Yep , that's a Colt 1860, from the 1990 Signature Series reissue. Basically an Uberti , but actually finished at the Colt Old Dome building.

What caliber?
Originals were an obsolete .44 Colt.
Too bad they didn't make it in the correct caliber. Starline makes new brass and I see Black Hills is making .44 Colt factory ammo in their Cowboy line.
