Supposedly the new G&A is featuring a Commander length 1911 from Remington. Does anybody have any info on this?

Sounds like a great follow up to their decision to make a 1911. Should be a pretty popular item.

If they make one I will likely buy it. I think once Ruger catches up with SR1911 demand, a 4.25" model is a no brainer.

they've effed up Marlin lever guns to the point they're not even useful as a club.. time to move on to something else..

I just finished reading the article in G&A this morning, they gave it a good review.
But since I have a Colt Combat Commander Series 70 w/Novak frt. & rear sights and Ed Brown Beavetail grip safety, I will stick with the original which I still think is better.
