I had a BB that I once bought on a whim and carried it as a BUG in a uniform side pocket as a just in case the :fan: scenario.....

IF YOU'RE LOOKING for an effective "mouse gun," look at a NAA Mini Revolver in .22Magnum. Modern loadings like Winchester PDX1, Hornady's Critical Defense, and Federal's 50 grain HP all deliver high enough velocity out of very short barrels to insure good penetration and reliable expansion. My NAA Mini has a 1 5/8" barrel, and at 15 feet will group all 5 rounds in 2 .25 inches. Best of all, it is the most concealable gun made, it literally disappears in my front pants pocket, and I never leave home without it regardless of what I'm wearing.
I used to tote a .25 Jetfire Beretta as a backup. I think that's the right name, could have been a Starfire. Both were SA autos, and about the best tiny gun you could get back then. Lots smaller than the current DA guns. Before that, I had a 1935 Beretta, also a SA with a grip safety.
One of our officers, before I got there, was shot by a .25 in the liver. He lived, but years later had to have a liver transplant. He's still alive today.
Concealed carry is for protection, open carry is for attention.

Totally agree with you on the NAA Mini Magnum.
