IWB or OWB?
For those who have compact 1911 how do you carry your weapon?
I am looking at Milt Sparks VMII or Brigade M-12 or M-5 holsters

IWB or OWB depends on the terrain and the situation. Most CCW carriers need both at one time or another.
I have a bunch ~~~~~~Galco, safariland, old faithful, De Santis, Fobus, a NN special, and even a _ _ _bag
If you talking open carry then the same makers work well; but, I go with OWB or traditional belt holster.
Check out crossbreeds website, mine came from a custom maker Piere Jordan out of Mozambique....
I guess my question should have been who makes quality holsters since they all seam to make same style holsters in some form or another.....

I carry my Colt Lt.Wt. Ofc. model in a Milt Sparks Executive Companion IWB daily and find it very comfortable. In addition I have his 55BN that I carry cross draw for my Ofc. mdl. in colder weather when I wear a sweat shirt or vest to conceal it. I have found all of his holsters I have purchased to be of high quality along with one of his belts I purchased.
I also have a Summer Special for my Colt Govt. Mdl. that works well for that pistol.
