Potential "glory shooter" ends rampage with 1 fatality

...Himself. As things should be. He had bombs make up, a pistol, and some sort of rifle. I guess his plan was to set off the fire alarm and start picking people off. It didn't seem to work out. What the hell kind of rifle is an "American-Tech"? Did this guy plan on going on a murderous rampage with a tactical looking 10/22?

Is this the rifle from American Gun Tech?

No idea about the rifle. But I heard an officer say it was a .22 Magnum rifle. So I have no idea what kind of rifle they are talking about.

Would they all chose that way out before they act out their plans....

I'm guessing the "American-Tech" is reporter speak for a 10/22 in an ATI stock.

Good deal that the shooter just offed himself and no one else was hurt.

What a maroon. He's supposed to off himself after everyone else...

The .45 was a High Point.................makes you wonder if he intended to kill himself or if it just went off by itself.

So my question is...where the heck did he find .22lr ammo!
Maybe that's why he offed himself (and saved the taxpayers millions) - he couldn't FIND any .22LR ammo...

Just heard an unconfirmed report that it was an "American Tactical" MP-5 copy:

O.K. That makes more sense. It's a GSG rifle made in Germany and imported and sold by several distributors.

Wow. I can't believe UCF's ban on firearms in school housing didn't prevent this...

I listened to the story on TV. Something was said by a member of the school faculty about the guns and ammo in the room being against policy. Well, seeing how he had a massacre planned, I doubt the school policy violation was of much importance to him. :nono:

Pretty sure it's against the law and policy to build improvised explosives on campus as well.

I am relieved that there was only 1 fatality.

However, that isn't an Assault Rifle by any stretch of the imagination. I mean where's the bayonet? The telescoping stock? The flash suppressor?

He could had used a piece of rope and saved himself a lot of trouble.

I wonder how many in the media looked up the rifle HOPING it was a black evil assault rifle.

    Wait, what I am saying?

    They don't do fact checking!

It was "tactical", so according to the media, it was an evil "black rifle".
