...the bad news??? In theory, this money can only be used for fish, wildlife, conservation, recreation, but it can be "held back" (sequestered) as collateral against a govt. debt. Even just being used as collateral, & not disbursed as expected is going to cause a lot of agencies hard times, because they've already included these expected funds into this year's budgets...

    You could see trucks and boats to sit due to lack of gas and repair money, temporary workers to be laid off, projects to be cut back due to lack of personnel. We've been told we'll know by April how this will affect us...
    Overkill is underrated.

    Why is it that when government is given a number of options, it always picks the one that makes the least sense, and does the most damage?

    Probably because in this case, they're trying to inflict the maximum amount of pain to get the people to force the opposition to cave into their goals.



    But remember, these are the same folks who say torture won't get the desired results....
