I had some corn I had never seen or tried before, mixed yellow and white and very sweet, for the first time I did not slather My corn with 5 pounds of butter !!!! and it was really good that way..... :love:

    There are quite a few of the hybrids that have mixed yellow and white kernels. Most that I can find are "sweet" varieties.
    King Kool Hybrid (referred to as "super sweet")

    With your "very sweet" comment, I would guess "King Kool" of the two from Burpee, though I'm sure there are other bicolor hybrids out there that could be similar from other companies

    edited to add: I LOVE home grown sweet corn. "Silver Queen" is one of my favorites.

    Our hands down favorite here is "Peaches & Cream"...little real butter, salt & pepper...it don't get no better...
