These pics. were made at The D-Day Memorial, in Bedford, Va.
The man in the blue suit, is my Uncle Jack,
the 27th. was his 90th, b-day.
They installed a plaque for his unit, The 411th AAA Gun Battalion,
which was assigned to ,Pattons 3rd Army.
They shot down 67 German planes, during The D-Day Invasion.

Rights and freedoms, won with patriot's blood,
shall not be taken away, by ink from a tyrant's pen.

    I see the old Jarheads did us proud at the ceremony, also.

    Yes, I have a pic. of a retired Marine Sgt. in uniforn placing a wreath, with my uncle,
    but it won't upload, says it's to large, ( although it's the same size as the others).
